Privacy Policy
View our Privacy Policy to learn how information is handled when a social account is connected to XO Studio.

House of XO Publishing (“House of XO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates XO Studio, a private internal business tool used to support publishing, social media, content planning, and analytics workflows.
This Privacy Policy explains how XO Studio accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when an authorized social media account is connected to the tool.
When an authorized user connects a third-party platform such as Pinterest to XO Studio, the tool may access information made available through that platform’s official API and within the permissions approved during authorization.
For Pinterest, this may include:
• Pinterest account identifiers, username, display name, and related account information
• Public boards and board metadata
• Public Pins and Pin metadata, including provider-native Pin IDs, creation dates, media type, and links
• Organic account-level and Pin-level analytics, such as impressions, saves, outbound clicks, video views, and other Pinterest-specific analytics made available through the API
• API response metadata needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and verify analytics synchronization
XO Studio does not request access to Pinterest advertising, billing, catalog, or publishing permissions as part of its current analytics workflow.
Information accessed through connected platforms is used only for legitimate House of XO Publishing business purposes, including:
• Reviewing social media and content performance
• Maintaining internal analytics records
• Organizing and evaluating publishing and marketing workflows
• Verifying synchronization accuracy and preventing duplicate analytics records
• Troubleshooting connection or synchronization issues
• Improving internal House of XO Publishing tools and workflows
We do not sell Pinterest data or other connected-platform data.
XO Studio uses official platform authorization methods, including OAuth where supported.
Users authorize XO Studio through the third-party platform itself. XO Studio does not receive or store a user’s Pinterest password.
Access is limited to the permissions granted by the authorized user. For Pinterest analytics, XO Studio currently requests only the read permissions needed for account identity, public boards, public Pins, and organic analytics.
Authorization may be revoked through the relevant platform or by disconnecting the account from XO Studio.
Access tokens, refresh tokens, and other provider credentials are treated as confidential authentication material.
XO Studio stores provider credentials only on the server using encrypted credential storage. Tokens and secrets are not intentionally exposed in the browser, public pages, analytics displays, or application logs.
Information collected through connected platforms may be stored in House of XO Publishing’s secured application infrastructure for internal operational and analytics purposes.
XO Studio uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored information, including server-side access controls, encrypted credential storage, private evidence storage, workspace-level authorization, and restricted access to raw provider responses.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled by XO Studio.
To verify synchronization accuracy, XO Studio may retain sanitized copies of provider API responses and related analytics observations.
These records may be used to confirm what information was returned by a provider at a particular time, support duplicate detection, investigate synchronization errors, and maintain historical analytics integrity.
Sensitive authentication material is not intentionally included in stored provider evidence.
House of XO Publishing does not sell or rent connected-platform information.
Information may be processed by service providers that support the secure operation of XO Studio, such as hosting, database, storage, authentication, and infrastructure providers. Such access is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide those services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of House of XO Publishing and its systems.
Connected-platform information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the internal business, analytics, security, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, or legal purposes described in this policy.
Disconnecting or revoking a social account stops future authorized access through that connection. Previously collected records may remain in secured internal systems where needed for historical analytics integrity, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, or legitimate business records.
An authorized user may revoke Pinterest authorization through Pinterest or disconnect the applicable provider connection from XO Studio.
Questions or requests concerning information associated with XO Studio may be submitted using the contact information below.
XO Studio interacts with third-party platforms through their official APIs. Those platforms operate independently and maintain their own privacy policies, terms, and data practices.
This Privacy Policy describes House of XO Publishing’s handling of information after it is made available to XO Studio. It does not replace or modify the privacy practices of Pinterest or any other third-party platform.
XO Studio is an internal business tool and is not intended for use by children.
We do not knowingly use XO Studio to collect personal information directly from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as XO Studio evolves, additional integrations are introduced, or legal and operational requirements change.
When material changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.
